iA Financial appoints Sebastien Mc Mahon as chief economist

Sebastien Mc Mahon is appointed Chief Economist at iA Financial (IAFNF) Group, effective immediately, reflecting the growing scope and visibility of his contributions to the organization and its clients. This expanded title recognizes and solidifies his role as an ambassador for the organization, providing relevant insights to iA Financial Group’s clients. A respected voice within the organization for many years, he previously served as Senior Economist and Chief Strategist at iA Global Asset Management. In his new role as Chief Economist, Sebastien Mc Mahon will dedicate 100% of his time to supporting iA Financial Group broadly, providing forward-looking economic research, analysis and media insights. His work will provide insights to the organization’s investment teams, iA’s lines of business, and its clients. In connection with his new responsibilities as Chief Economist, Mr. Mc Mahon will transition out of his portfolio management responsibilities within the asset allocation team at iA Global Asset Management to focus on his expanded enterprise-wide mandate.
