HP Enterprise (HPE) announced that the Defense Information Systems Agency has awarded the company with Production Other Transaction Authority, a 10-year period of performance worth life cycle value of $931M, for a distributed hybrid multi-cloud solution to modernize its data centers. HP Enterprise will deploy Private Cloud Enterprise using GreenLake, establishing a secure cloud environment with on-premises and air-gapped management. This production deployment builds upon the successful completion of a prototype that began in 2024.
