Honeywell (HON) announced the appointment of Peter Lau as President and CEO of its Industrial Automation business, effective October 15. A former President of Honeywell’s Security, Fire and Electrical Products businesses, Lau is returning to succeed Lucian Boldea, who is departing the company at the end of the month to pursue another opportunity. Lau will be based in Charlotte, N.C., and will report to Vimal Kapur, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell.
