Honda (HMC) has decided to produce its next-gen Civic hybrid in Indiana, U.S. instead of Mexico to avoid potential tariffs, Maki Shiraki of Reuters reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The company expects Indiana production to be at around 210,000 Civics per year, the sources added. Additionally, new Civic production has been pushed to May 2028 from November 2027, Reuters sources said.
