The company said, “Honda’s (HMC) consolidated sales revenue for the three months ended June 30, 2025 decreased by 1.2%, to JPY 5,340.2 billion from the same period last year, due mainly to decreased sales revenue in Financial services business as well as negative foreign currency translation effects, which was partially offset by increased sales revenue in Automobile business. Operating profit decreased by 49.6%, to JPY 244.1 billion from the same period last year, due mainly to tariff impacts as well as negative foreign currency effects, which was partially offset by increased profit attributable to sales impacts. Profit before income taxes decreased by 47.7%, to JPY 292.3 billion from the same period last year. Profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent decreased by 50.2%, to JPY 196.6 billion from the same period last year.”
