The company said, “Honda’s (HMC) consolidated sales revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026 increased by 0.5%, to JPY 21,796.6B from the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025, due mainly to increased sales revenue in Motorcycle business, which was partially offset by decreased sales revenue in Automobile business as well as negative foreign currency translation effects. Operating loss was JPY 414.3B, a decrease of JPY 1,627.8B from the previous fiscal year, due mainly to the impact of EV-related losses as well as tariff impacts, which was partially offset by increased profit attributable to price and cost impacts. Loss before income taxes was JPY 403.3B, a decrease of JPY 1,720.9B from the previous fiscal year, due mainly to the impact of EV-related losses. Loss for the year attributable to owners of the parent was JPY 423.9B, a decrease of JPY 1,259.7B from the previous fiscal year.”
