Reports 9M revenue Y15.98T vs. Y16.33T last year, with operating profit of Y591.5B vs. Y1.14T last year. The company said, “Honda’s (HMC) consolidated sales revenue for the nine months ended December 31, 2025 decreased by 2.2%, to JPY 15,975.6B from the same period last year, due mainly to negative foreign currency translation effects, which was partially offset by increased sales revenue in Motorcycle business. Operating profit decreased by 48.1%, to JPY 591.5B from the same period last year, due mainly to impact of changes in the electric vehicle market environment as well as tariff impacts, which was partially offset by increased profit attributable to price and cost impacts. Profit before income taxes decreased by 37.0%, to JPY 771.7B from the same period last year. Profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent decreased by 42.2%, to JPY 465.4B from the same period last year.”
