HHS to drop recommendations for routine COVID shots for kids, WSJ reports

The Department of Health and Human Services, led by Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is expected to remove the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s recommendations that pregnant women, teenagers and children get COVID-19 vaccines as a matter of routine, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal’s Liz Essley Whyte. Makers of COVID-19 vaccines include Pfizer (PFE), BioNTech (BNTX), Moderna (MRNA) and Novavax (NVAX).
