Gordon Haskett says California Tylenol case dismissal ‘significant’ Kenvue win

Gordon Haskett reports that the judge overseeing the initial California Tylenol lawsuit against Kenvue (KVUE) granted summary judgement in favor of the defendants in what the firm calls a “significant win” for Kenvue, adding that the firm would expect the only remaining California case that is before the same judge to eventually get dismissed on similar grounds. The decision “significantly boosts” Kenvue’s efforts to tie up loose ends following the 2023 dismissal of all the Tylenol ASD-ADHD cases in the multi-district litigation and federal courts, adds the analyst, who notes that only a few pending Tylenol cases now remain in Illinois state court.
