Google has signed one of the first commercial deals for fusion energy in an agreement with Commonwealth Fusion Systems, CFS, Yusuf Khan of The Wall Street Journal reports. CFS, which is backed by Bill Gates’ technology fund, aims to start producing commercial fusion energy in the 2030s.
