Google is set to be hit by a large EU fine by the end of the year if it does not do more to ensure its app store complies with EU rules aimed at access and competition , Foo Yun Chee of Reuters reports, citing people with knowledge of the matter. A fine could heighten tensions between the country and the U.S., which recently said the EU has adopted laws against U.S. tech companies.
