Google is in discussions with Envicool and other Chinese firms on buying liquid cooling equipment for data centers, Reuters reports, citing people with knowledge of a visit to China by one of the U.S. company’s procurement teams. Liquid cooling systems have become critical for AI data centers and the visit reflects tight supply of parts for these systems, the sources added.
