Kathryn Ruemmler joined Goldman Sachs (GS) in 2020 and disclosed she had a connection with Jeffrey Epstein, but the company did not know the details of her association, details that have since been made public, AnnaMaria Andriotis of The Wall Street Journal reports. Ruemmler originally told Goldman leaders she had business dealings with Epstein but it has since come out she met with him dozens of times and exchanged friendly emails for year. Additionally, she was in the courtroom when Epstein was arraigned after his arrest and had been listed as one of the executors on his will. This relationship has drawn scrutiny inside Goldman Sachs, where Ruemmler serves as general counsel and a top adviser to CEO David Solomon.
