General Motors (GM) plans to boost production of its heavy-duty trucks in Michigan to meet strong demand, increasing the number of days per week the Flint Assembly Plant will operate to six from five beginning in June, Reuters’ Nathan Gomes reports. The car maker told Reuters it is making strategic adjustments to the Flint plant’s output schedule to align with stronger demand for gas-powered pickups.
