General Motors (GM) is cutting staff at its all-electric Factory Zero facility in Detroit, with the company saying it is adjusting output to “align with market dynamics,” Reuters’ Kalea Hall reports. Roughly 200 workers at the factory will be temporarily laid off, a company source told Reuters, adding that the action is unrelated to new tariffs.
