GLJ Research tells investors following earnings from GE Vernova (GEV) that the stock move during the earnings call “affirms our belief that this story is more clearly linked to what management says on the call than what was very much a priced-in print for the quarter.” The firm, which adds that it would expect post-earnings revisions to Street numbers to “carry this event-path forward,” would be buyers of the stock and keeps a Buy rating and $702 price target on GE Vernova shares.
