Gilat Satellite (GILT) Networks announced that it received a multi-million dollar order from a leading In-Flight Connectivity, IFC, Integrator for Gilat Wavestream’s AeroStream Ka-band Wideband amplifiers to support the deployment of connectivity solutions on commercial aviation aircraft. Deliveries are expected over the next 24 months. “We are pleased to see continued demand and adoption of the AeroStream 60W Ka band Wideband BUC,” said Edgar Khachatryan, President, Gilat Wavestream. “Our Ka-band aviation solutions are designed to meet the operational and certification requirements of commercial aircraft, and with more than 5,000 aircraft flying with Gilat Wavestream IFC products, we continue to support large-scale, reliable connectivity deployments across the global aviation market.”
