GeoPark (GPRK) announced its operational update for the three-month period ended June 30. Year-to-date consolidated average oil and gas production was 28,223 boepd. Q2 consolidated average oil and gas production was 27,380 boepd, reflecting solid delivery from core operated and non-operated assets. Production was 6% lower than Q1, mainly explained by the divestment of the Llanos 32 Block, as well as temporary blockades in the CPO-5 Block, which led to 16 days of shut-in production. The infill drilling campaign in the Llanos 34 Block experienced delays, which were partially offset by production recovery through base management, waterflooding, and workovers. A total of 5 wells were drilled and completed in Q2, bringing the year-to-date total to 10 wells. An exploration discovery at the Currucutu-1 well in the Llanos 123 Block, produced an initial 1,360 bopd gross.
