General Motors (GM) has told thousands of its suppliers to remove any parts from China from their supply chains, Mike Colias of Reuters reports, citing four people familiar with the matter. The company has been requesting suppliers to find alternatives to China for raw materials and parts in the hopes of eventually moving their supply chains out of the country completely, the sources added.
