Argus lowered the firm’s price target on Gen Digital (GEN) to $32 from $35 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The stock has been swept up in the early 2026 Tech sector selloff, but on fundamentals, its results have been just fine, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The market’s fears of Gen-AI agents replacing software as-a-service in the cybersecurity subsector may be overblown, the firm added.
