GE Vernova (GEV) is looking into a potential sale of its industrial software unit known as Proficy, Bloomberg’s Liana Baker, Michelle Davis, and Josh Saul report, citing people familiar with the matter. The company has tapped financial advisers to assist with the possible divestiture and has reached out to publicly traded companies with industrial software assets as well as private equity firms, the authors note.
