Galapagos (GLPG) announced the proposed appointment of Gino Santini as a non-executive independent director, with the intention to appoint him as chair of its board of directors, subject to shareholder approval at the annual shareholders’ meeting on April 28. If elected, Gino Santini will replace current director and chair Jerome Contamine, whose mandate as a member of the board of directors ends immediately after the AGM on April 28.
