Members of the Group of Seven, or G7, and the EU are considering price floors to promote rare earth production, as well as taxes on some Chinese exports in an effort to incentivize investment, Reuters’ Julia Payne and Divya Rajagopal report, citing four sources with knowledge of the discussions. The Fly notes that companies involved in the development and mining of rare earth minerals include Nova Minerals (NVA), Ioneer (IONR), Lynas Rare Earths (LYSCF), MP Materials (MP), Energy Fuels (UUUU), NioCorp (NB) and VanEck Vectors Rare Earth/Strategic Metals ETF (REMX).
