Disney’s (DIS) FX has ordered a television adaptation of Ubisoft’s (UBSFY) “Far Cry” video game franchise, with “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” star Rob Mac co-creating the series with “Fargo” creator Noah Hawley, Variety’s Joe Otterson reports. The series, which will also star Rob Mac, will stream on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally, Otterson says, noting that while plot details are unknown, the series will follow an anthology format similar to the games and feature a new cast, plot, and setting each season.
