Truist downgraded FTI Consulting (FCN) to Hold from Buy with a price target of $178, down from $225. The firm reduced 2025 estimates below guidance and consensus, citing ongoing risk from consultant attrition in Economic Consulting. Yesterday, according to the industry journal Global Competition Review, FTI reportedly lost a substantial producer in the Economic Consulting Segment to Econic Partners, the newly launched firm founded by the former leader of the Compass Lexicon brand within FTI, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Truist now anticipates an annual guidance reduction.
