The Federal Trade Commission, FTC, is asking the largest ad companies in the world for information related to an investigation into whether ad and advocacy groups violated antitrust laws by coordinating boycotts of specific sites, such as Elon Musk’s X, Suzanne Vranica and Dane Mattioli of The Wall Street Journal reports. The FTC sent requests for information to agencies including Omnicom Group (OMC), WPP (WPP), Dentsu, Havas, Interpoublic Group (IPG), Publicis Groupe, and Horizon Media.
