Morgan Stanley upgraded Franklin Resources (BEN) to Equal Weight from Underweight with a price target of $31, up from $21. The firm sees early signs of a turnaround with Western outflows fading and core flows improving. Franklin’s core flows have improved with nine quarters of inflows excluding Western, the analyst tells investors in a research note. It believes a turnaround is emerging at the fund manager.
