Fortrea (FTRE) announced that Fortrea’s board of directors named Anshul Thakral as Fortrea’s CEO, effective August 4. He was also appointed to serve as a director on the company’s board, effective as of that date. Thakral succeeds interim CEO, Peter Neupert, who will remain as chairman of the board. Thakral brings more than 20 years of experience in life sciences as an executive and commercial leader, advisor and entrepreneur.
