OpenAI has hired Dave Dugan, a former Meta ad executive, to lead ad sales, as the company looks to build ties with major brands, The Wall Street Journal’s Suzanne Vranica reports. Dugan, who announced earlier this month he was stepping down from his role as vice president of global clients and agencies at Meta, will report to Brad Lightcap, OpenAI’s COO.
