Ford (F) announced a field service action related to fuel injectors in certain model year 2021-2024 Bronco Sport vehicles, 2020-2022 Escape vehicles, and 2019-2024 Kuga vehicles. The company estimates the aggregate cost of the action to be about $570M, which will be reflected in its Q2 results. “Consistent with our corporate policy, which considers the magnitude of individual field service actions, the expense will be treated as a special item. Accordingly, it will not impact our total Company adjusted EBIT, adjusted earnings per share, or adjusted free cash flow,” Ford added.
