Ford looks for buyers for excess battery supply, Bloomberg reports

Michael Adams, Chief Executive Officer of the BlueOvalSK joint venture owned by Ford (F) Motor and South Korea’s SK On, tells Bloomberg in an interview that the JV is seeking buyers for excess battery supply produced at their Kentucky factory, which officially began production Tuesday. “Both of our parents are looking for other opportunities for other new business,” Adams is quoted as having said, adding that the prospects for signing up new customers is “fairly high.”
