After Ford (F) Energy announced an agreement with EDF to deliver up to 4 GWh per year to support grid-scale renewable integration and grid resilience, Morgan Stanley said the announcement reinforces Ford’s positioning as a domestic supplier of battery energy storage systems. The firm, which would believe “this is the first of potential several large customer announcements this year,” calls the deal a “first big win for Ford Energy” and keeps an Equal Weight rating on Ford shares.
