The Novelis aluminum plant in Scriba, New York that supplies aluminum sheets used by automakers and has Ford (F) as its largest customer has suffered its third fire reported at the plant in two months, according to CNY Central. The large fire that broke out on September 16 was predicted to be costly for Ford, as the automaker indicated with its Q3 report that it could lose around $1B in earnings due to the fire, the report noted.
