Honduran newspaper La Prensa reports that Cobre Panama, a subsidiary of First Quantum Minerals (FQVLF), expressed its satisfaction with the government’s announcement authorizing the restart of operations at its thermoelectric plant and an agreement to export copper concentrate. Cobre Panama instructed its lawyers to meet with the government to suspend arbitration proceedings, the report added.
