Deutsche Bank analyst Mark DeVries upgraded Fidelity National (FNF) to Buy from Hold as part of a broader research note previewing 2025 for Consumer and Diversified Finance names. November election results rekindled animal spirits, boosting business and consumer confidence on expectation of a more pro-business political environment, which bodes well for stocks levered to consumer credit and spending, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Fidelity National also “trades cheaply” on muted title earnings, while its spinoff for F&G Annuities & Life should unlock value from a sum of the parts valuation discount and provide a catalyst for outperformance that is independent of the mortgage cycle, the firm added.
