In a reply to a tweet on X, Bill Pulte, the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, stated: “We are doing a full scale review of all credit bureaus.” The three major, publicly traded credit bureaus in the U.S. are Equifax (EFX), Experian (EXPGY) and TransUnion (TRU). FICO (FICO), which is a provider of credit scores and has been a frequent target of Pulte in past communication from the head of the FHFA, is down in afternoon trading following the post.
