After earlier consumer data on Wednesday showed progress on inflation, Chicago Fed President, Austan Goolsbee said he is becoming more worried abut the country’s employment picture, Bloomberg’s Amara Omeokwe wrote. Goolsbee, like Fed Chair Jerome Powell and other policymakers “have said they are increasingly focused on preventing a downturn in the jobs market, a shift from recent years,” added the Bloomberg report.
