Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Federal Aviation Administration, FAA, Administrator Bryan Bedford said the 6% air traffic cut implemented last week would be terminated at 6 a.m. on Monday, a move that comes after the FAA reviewed safety trends and saw improved staffing levels, Dean Seal of The Wall Street Journal reports. Several airlines have warned it could take several days before operations return to normal. Publicly traded airline operators include Alaska Air (ALK), American Airlines (AAL), Delta Air Lines (DAL), JetBlue (JBLU), Southwest (LUV), Spirit Airlines (FLYY) and United Airlines (UAL).
