ExxonMobil has sued California, alleging two new state laws force the company to agree with a certain climate viewpoint, Maria Paula Mijares Torres of Bloomberg reports. One bill requires companies doing business in California with over $1B in annual revenue to disclose their greenhouse gas emissions each year while the other calls for companies with over $500M in annual revenue to publish biennial reports assessing how climate change could affect their financial performance.
