The European Commission confirmed that its antitrust watchdogs raided the premises of several unidentified ski equipment companies suspected of forming an illegal cartel, but gave little details of the inspections in a statement beyond saying that the companies “may have violated EU antitrust rules that prohibit cartels and restrictive business practices,” according to Bloomberg. Amer Sports (AS)’ ski brands include Atomic, Armada, and Salomon.
