In May 2025 year-to-date, new EU car registrations fell by 0.6% compared to the same period last year. Nonetheless, year-on-year registrations for May increased by 1.6% compared to the same month last year, the ACEA reported. Publicly traded automakers include Ford (F), General Motors (GM), Honda (HMC), Mercedes-Benz (MBGYY), Nissan (NSANY), Stellantis (STLA), Tesla (TSLA), Toyota (TM) and Volkswagen (VWAGY).
