ESPN, FOX One streamers add roughly 1M signups in under two weeks, says Antenna

There have been roughly 1M sign-ups for ESPN’s (DIS) new streaming service or FOX One (FOXA) between their respective releases on August 21 and August 31, according to estimates from Antenna, which tracks the streaming industry. This topline data does not include existing Disney Bundle users who previously had access to ESPN+ and now have ESPN Select, or those who activated the services through a Multichannel Video Programming Distributor partnership. The rise in subscribers for both services likely coincides with early NFL regular season games, which began on September 7, Antenna noted.
