Ericsson (ERIC) is in talks to invest in Intel’s (INTC) networking infrastructure business, Vinicy Chan, Jillian Deutsch and Ryan Gould of Bloomberg report, citing people familiar with the matter. The investment would be worth hundreds of millions and make Ericsson a minority stakeholder in Intel’s newly spun-off networking and edge business called Nex, which supplies chips to Ericsson for its radio access network hardware, sources told Bloomberg.
