Equity Residential CFO Robert Garechana to switch roles, Bret McLeod to succeed

Equity Residential (EQR) announced changes to its executive management team. Robert Garechana, currently the company’s executive VP and CFO, will assume the role of executive VP and chief investment officer. Alexander Brackenridge, currently executive VP and CIO, will transition to executive VP – investments and retire at the end of 2025. Bret McLeod, will join the company in July as executive VP – finance and assume the CFO role on August 7. McLeod currently serves as executive VP and CFO of Great Wolf Resorts.
