In a letter addressed to Debbie-Anne A. Reese, Acting Secretary, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Mountain Valley Pipeline stated: “On April 22, 2024, Mountain Valley Pipeline, LLC filed a request for authorization to place the Mountain Valley Pipeline Project facilities in service. Mountain Valley supplemented its request on May 21, 2024. Mountain Valley confirms that the Project facilities are mechanically complete… Mountain Valley requests that Commission Staff issue its authorization by June 11, 2024. Consistent with established Commission precedent, Mountain Valley has satisfied the restoration standard in Environmental Condition No. 10 of the Certificate Order to be granted authorization to place the Project facilities into service.”
