BMO Capital initiated coverage of Equifax (EFX) with a Market Perform rating and $280 price target The firm says the company has expended “meaningfully” beyond credit bureau with its Verifier business and Work Number Database. BMO’s estimates reflect caution on a mortgage recovery and Verifier growth, and it is below consensus in out-years, the analyst tells investors in a research note. BMO adds that Equifax trades at parity with its information services peers.
