Energy Transfer announced it has reached a positive financial investment decision for the expansion of its Transwestern Pipeline to increase natural gas supply to markets in Arizona and New Mexico from the Permian Basin. The Desert Southwest pipeline expansion project consists of 516 miles of pipeline with a design capacity of 1.5B cubic feet per day. The project is expected to cost approximately $5.3B and be in-service by Q4 2029.
