Endra Life Sciences (NDRA) announced that the European Patent Office has issued to Endra a new patent EP4247282 titled “Method and System for Monitoring Tissue Temperature.” The ‘282 patent relates to a novel method and system for monitoring tissue ablation during minimally invasive thermal surgical interventions by utilizing Endra’s Taeus system. It is related to ENDRA’s U.S. patent US11,051,883 enabling integration with existing ablation systems. ENDRA expects its method and system to be applicable to minimally invasive microwave and radiofrequency thermal ablation procedures, which continue to grow globally as a less painful alternative with shorter recovery times compared with open surgical procedures.
