Eli Lilly’s (LLY) Mounjaro will be added to China’s state-run health insurance scheme for patients with type 2 diabetes beginning January 1, Andrew Silver of Reuters reports, citing a notice on the National Healthcare Security Administration’s website. The inclusion will make the drug more widely available to the public, but the increase in sales will likely be mitigated by lower prices.
