Eli Lilly (LLY) has offered a discounted deal on weight loss drug Mounjaro to UK suppliers, which is expected to limit the price increase to consumers from September, BBC’s Nick Triggle and Philippa Roxby report, citing sources. Earlier this month, Eli Lilly announced it was raising the list price of the drug by as much as 170%, which could have meant the cost of the highest dose going up from GBP 122 to GBP 330 per month, but according to sources, the highest dose will now be sold to suppliers for GBP 247.50.
